Agradecimientos y dedicatoria.

Varias personas muy importantes en el campo de la herpetología a nivel nacional e internacional han sido lo suficientemente generosas como para enviar sus fotografías y trabajos ante mis peticiones de ayuda colaborando así con este blog de manera desinteresada y muy valiosa, para mi es todo un orgullo haber contado con todos ellos de modo que debo agradecer sus trabajos y fotos al profesor David Warrell desde Inglaterra, a Mark o´Shea por su paciencia e interés, a Antonio Moro del reptilario del Parque de la Naturaleza de Cabárceno en Cantabria por sus inestimables fotos y apoyo, a Wolfgang Wüster desde Gales por indicarme una fuente taxonómica fiable, a Jose Luis Méndez por sus fotos, ayuda, consejos y por permitirme trabajar con sus serpientes durante muchos años, a Lola Molina por sus fotos, soportarme y además quererme, a Rodrigo Souza de Brasil por las fotos de sus Lachesis y su amistad, a Carlos y Merche por sus ánimos y ayudas, a Brian Bush de Australia por sus fantásticas fotos y temprana respuesta, a Bruce Means de Estados Unidos por sus fotos y artículos sobre los rodeos de cascabeles entre otros, a Rom Whitaker desde la India por su foto y buenos deseos y a Jose María Gutiérrez director del Instituto Clodomiro Picado de Costa Rica (Pura Vida) por su foto y deseos de suerte con esta página.

Sin todos ellos y su ayuda desinteresada este blog sería considerablemente más pobre de lo que lo es y por supuesto cualquier error en estos textos es solo mío.

         Este blog va dedicado a todas estas personas antes citadas y a aquellas anónimas que han puesto y ponen hoy en día su grano de arena para hacer que animales tan odiados como las serpientes - venenosas o no - dejen de ser uno los “monstruos” de la fauna mundial consiguiendo que las temamos menos y las respetemos más a base de conocerlas mejor y - por supuesto - a aquellos médicos e investigadores que combaten la acción de sus venenos en todo el mundo e investigan con ellos futuros tratamientos médicos.

         This blog is dedicated to all those people above and those corporations that have today and put your bit to make it so hated animals like snakes - poisonous or not - no longer a "monsters" of the fauna world that we fear getting less and is more respectul to improve knowledge base and -of course-those doctors and researchers who are fighting the action of poisons in the whole world and investigate them further medical treatments.
